PowerScan 9501 Retail Series 2D area imagers for the Retail sector includes corded models (PD9501-RT) and cordless models (PBT9501-RT and PM9501-RT).

The PowerScan Retail 9501 series is the first hand held series of scanners on the market capable of reading digital watermarks including Digimarc® Barcodes. This new application significantly reduces time at the checkout. The rugged mechanics of the PowerScan Retail series guarantees reliable long-term operation in retail activities. Repeated shocks at the POS checkout or outdoor usage do not inhibit the scanner’s performance or reliability, protecting the retailer’s investment.
The PowerScan PD9531-RT imager is the corded model of this series. The cordless area imagers are comprised of the PBT9501-RT / PM9501-RT models. The PBT model features Bluetooth® wireless technology and the PM model features Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System™ narrow band radio.
